Halloween at Busch Gardens Tampa

Halloween Busch Gardens Tampa

Halloween Busch Gardens Tampa

To help bring guests closer to Halloween this year, Busch Gardens Tampa is introducing a new type of fear at the Dark Side of the Gardens. The terrifying Howl-O-Scream evening events return to transform the park into a nightmare of inescapable horror. For eight select nights, Busch Gardens Tampa will be overgrown with an insatiable hoard of zombies, poring forth from every shadow, to petrify even the toughest visitor.

NEW FOR 2011:

Nevermore, a truly gothic horror experience inspired by The Raven, a tale of mystery and the macabre by Edgar Allen Poe
Ultimate Gamble: Vampire Casino, a high-risk casino where guests risk much more than money
Zombie Mortuary, a small-town funeral home infested with the un-dead

Nevermore, inspired by the master of the macabre, American poet Edgar Allen Poe, reaches into the darkest depths of gothic horror to create a twisted nightmare that terrifies every sense. Step inside the manor of Lenore, where beating hearts and swinging pendulums torment visitors to the brink of insanity, and a raven’s haunting cries cause delusion to overcome reality.

Face fanged-fiends who are devils with a deck of cards at the Ultimate Gamble: Vampire Casino, where guests to try their luck in a sultry hangout straight from Sin City. The seductive games and high-stake thrills at Revivara Casino are guaranteed to get the blood pumping. If guests manage to escape before their luck is drained, they can face their fears in Zombie Mortuary, where the un-dead have infested a small town funeral home, feeding on the fresh flesh and brains of mortuary mourners.

Back by popular demand this year, and full of some horrible new twists, is Alone, a personal horror experience where guests enter the home of deranged lunatic, Master Alexander Daedalus, to explore his sinister collection of ‘cultural’ remains. Minotaur Storage is a labyrinth of broken bodies and guests must make it out ALONE, or be forever trapped in the Master’s collection.

Other houses include the Nightshade Toy Factory, where twisted toys come to life; Death Row Vengeance: Fear the Dead, where the inmates of Grey Echo Penitentiary face eternal torture by their un-dead captors; and Deconstruction: The Doctor is out of Control, where the demented Doctor Edger VonAngst carries out his own ghastly experiments.

The thrills don’t stop there; guests can not only brave bone-chilling coasters, Cheetah Hunt*, SheiKra, Montu, Gwazi and Kumba in the dark, but can also catch their breath at one of Busch Gardens’ twisted live shows: Midnight Hour and Fiends.
