Fun At Bodiam Castle

Halloween Fun At Bodiam Castle

Halloween Fun At Bodiam Castle

On October 27 and 28 between 11am and 3pm visitors to Bodiam Castle can come face to face with a variety of animals including owls, vultures and other critters.

The marvellous world of nature will be bought to life for visitors to learn all about the fascinating creatures and their natural habitats, from the dusty planes of Australia to the mountains and tropical jungles of South America.

Those brave enough can hold, feel and touch some of the animals and creepy crawlies including a tarantula, hissing cockroaches and a royal python.

The animals will be on display in the castle courtyard and there will be regular displays throughout the day. Normal castle admission applies.

Throughout half term, October 27 to November 4 between 11am and 3pm families can take part in the ‘Spooky Challenge’ treasure trail which leads visitors on a spine-chilling tour of the castle where they must search for hidden clues to solve the mystery and hunt down the creepy castle character before claiming a ghoulish prize!

Normal castle admission applies plus a small charge of £2 per child.

Visitors can spend all day exploring the extensive castle ruins and attractive grounds. See the castle’s original wooden portcullis in the Gate House and discover the battlements and towers with their stunning views over the Sussex countryside.

In the Castle shop visitors can browse a range of gifts and produce, including Bodiam wine and local honey.
